Handoff is a desktop workspace by Wayfound Labs for people building with coding agents. Bring an existing project, connect your tools, and follow the work from the first task to the final review.

Work with the tools you know

Connect supported tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI. Your chosen provider or model supplies the AI; Handoff brings the workflow together.

Keep the work on your computer

The desktop application, project files and session backend run locally. Account sign-in uses Supabase; account metadata can include your display name and project names.

Review before you keep it

Coordinate tasks, follow agent activity, inspect code changes and use your terminal in the same workspace. You decide which changes are ready.

What exactly is Handoff?

A local workspace for coordinating coding agents, project tasks, terminals and code review. Handoff provides the application and coordination layer; your chosen tools or model endpoints provide the AI.

Do I need an AI subscription?

That depends on the tools you choose. Cloud coding tools use their own accounts, pricing and limits. You can also configure a compatible local model server. Handoff does not include model credits or model weights.

Does everything work offline?

The backend and session data are local. Cloud tools, GitHub features and some interface assets require network access. Local model support does not make every feature fully offline.

What happens to my data?

Handoff stores workspace data locally. Account sign-in uses a connected account service that retains your profile and project names. Code, prompts and full folder paths are not uploaded by that account feature. Selected coding tools have their own provider policies.

How do I get updates?

Downloads are coming soon. Once releases are available, this page will link to the latest build on our release server. Automatic in-app updates are currently disabled.

Can multiple people share a hosted workspace?

This build focuses on your local workspace and multiple coding agents. A hosted service for shared human accounts and billing is not included.
